Speaking at OKK

We were invited to talk about the movie and show some clips at Oslo Kamera Klubb today.
It was pretty fun and we thank everyone that showed up for their interrest in our movie.

We finally wrapped up the cemetery scene.

Workshop at Filmens Hus

We were invited to talk about our movie to a bunch of people participating in the "Du bestemmer" project.

Some of the other participants were film director Harald Zwart and actress Ane Dahl Torp. The clips we brought was well recieved, and even though we were nervous as hell, it all went pretty well. This was our second public appearance.

Making a showreel

We are hired to talk to a group of young film makers at Filmens Hus, Cinemateket tomorrow, and the last few days has been spent cutting together a showreel of various clips. Paolo Vinaccia to the left, is composing the music for the showreel as he did on our first teaser.

We did the film's first CGI shot today, under Eirik Kirkaune of Neuglaz's supervision. The picture shows Morgan and
Kristoffer Heidar as "The Beggar".

*Problem solved thank's to Mediefabrikken.

The camera is being shipped off to Panasonic for a broken
Firewire port. We have the week planned out, but don't know if we can get hold of another camera yet.
Hopefully the problem is solved by tomorrow.

Rehearsing the screenplay

The leading actors got together at MS Innvik and read the script aloud together for the first time. Later we had a discussion about some parts of the script and got new ideas concerning the dialogue and character development

Update

Location scouting, finding prop's, trying to get sponsors, finding the missing actor's & crew member's etc.
Time consuming and sometimes frustrating, but the shoot will continue this fall.

Oslo Sci-Fi Festival

Oslo Science Fiction Festival

Kalkunregimet will participate in a discussion panel Friday 10 august.
The topic is underground fan-films and no/low budget independent movies.
