Morgan's short is a winner

Morgan Davidsen's "Bringebær", won P3 Filmpolitiets award for best short film of 2007 at the annual film festival in Grimstad this week.

We'll pop the champagne and smoke a big cigar for his victory!

Ludo's two girlfriends

Or, as Ludo probably would call them, his ho's and bitche's. That's the kind of guy Ludo is. Børres wannabe hip-hop gangster buddy.

They will be played by two norwegian model's:

Linn Kristiansen (Linn's blogg).


Mari Neste Bratteng (Nordicface and her blogg).


They will also be featured in some posters.
We're happy to have them aboard!

Met model's

We had a meeting with two talented model's and Biniam at TGI Friday's today. The model's will play the part's of Ludos two "girlfriend's", and will also be featured in some poster's in Bosse's office. We may also shoot som promo material with the the girl's and Børre later when we shoot the Mustang scenes in the movie. We'll get back to you with some pictures of them later this week.

The shoot will be organized by Biniam, the actor playing Ludo.

Red Lawn

The trailer

We began shooting the trailer today.
During the next couple of days we'll shoot som exterior inserts that will be used both in the trailer, and possibly in the feature film. Over the next few weeks, we'll shoot some scenes with some of the characters from the movie.

The part of MMB goes to..

.. Well, it's not decided yet. We forgot to post something here the previous Wednesday. We will let you know when we know. It's damned difficult. So long fans!

Constructing a teaser

We will finally shoot a real teaser in a short time.

At this moment we're making a mock teaser using images from the storyboard, to easier know what scenes, or takes, we'll shoot later. We are timing the images, cutting them as we would cut the real teaser. When we are satisfied with the drawn version, we'll go out to shoot the real one. It will feature the lead actors, some awesome images, and Paolo's mindblowing musical score.

Maybe even the our new logo. Stay tuned!

The script doctor

We recieved a treatment on the first 15 pages of the script today from our "script doctor".
After the final audition next week, we'll have a meeting with him and talk about the changes, and future collaboration on the rest of the script. We will tell you more about this when everything is figured out next week.

Soundtrack status

Paolo Vinaccia is working on some really great music ideas for the movie.
We had a listen to a few samples today, and it made our skin crawl. We're not going to give it away, but it's very original and organic. It's something you haven't heard before. It will blow you away! No kidding.

We will feature the music in the teaser due in a few weeks, after casting "The Man with the Bag".

Final audition

We are down to three persons in the final round of the auditions.

Next week we will go through some different scenes with them, and finally pick the one to portrait the dreaded "Man with the Bag", Børre's arch-nemesis.

Audition status

Primary audtitions are done.

Tomorrow we will look at all the tapes and see if we need to re-audition some of the guy's, in a slightly different setting.
Everyone that tried out for the part did a very good job, so it's a difficult decision to make. We'll let you know when we got our man.

This week.

- We will audition a few more guy's that couldn't make it last Thursday.
- We are talking to a script consultant that will look at the construction of our script. More info on that later.
- Some serious location scouting must be done.
- Morgan is checking out students abroad for possible hook-up with us in the summer.
- We are planning a new teaser shot that could be exciting.
- The storyboard needs som re-drawing and some completely new scenes etc.

Auditions

This week is audition week among other things.

The audition is for the part of "The Man with the Bag".
We will also have a few meetings with possible crew members, and finally bring an update to the crew list. We're still modifying the script, and waiting for some feedback on various issues regarding the script, crew and actors etc.

We'll let you know who got the part when we have decided.

The second disc contains the short "En aften i det grønne" (In the Green) from 1994.

It's a splatter movie involving a lawnmover that Kim photographed for Roar back in the days.

The images featured here are from an old VHS tape.
